An unwelcome guest in my new bathroom
As usual, I arrived home at three o"clock in the afternoon. I was a bit tired so I put a pizza in the oven and waited for a couple of minutes till it was warm. Then I made myself a cup of hot coffee and left the kitchen. I sat down on my comfortable sofa in the living room and had my dinner. Then I turned on the computer. I wanted to check the e-mail and pay my bills. I put some headphones on my head and played my favourite chill out music. Suddenly I heard a strange sound. It was coming from my new bathroom, I was sure of that! At first I thought that the new bathroom cabinet had fallen down. But it was highly impossible as it had been attached to the wall with screws and nails. I turned off the music and listened. There was another sound. As if somebody was throwing down my cosmetics and other accessories. There was somebody in my new bathroom, there was no doubt about it. But who was that? I took a golf club from the wardrobe and approached the door of the bathroom quietly. The door was slightly ajar and the light was off. Then I heard a meow. It was not a human being, it was a cat! I opened the door and saw my neighbour"s cat Tiger tampering with my things. He must have entered the flat quietly as I was coming inside and I was so exhausted with my work that I hadn"t even noticed!
